You might inquire or search to see if a probate was opened up for the deceased mother’s estate.  That would have addresses of heirs, etc.  If your potential client has an idea of where the child was/is in school, that would also be a starting point.  But often a simple starting point in these times is “Google”.  The child might well have a facebook account that would come up.

I have a PC whose ex- wife died; not sure when. PC's minor child lived with ex and now PC cannot find who is taking care of minor or where minor is.  He believes ex's boyfriend.

PC would like custody.  PC lives in Everett and child was last known to be living in Tacoma.

Recommendations are welcome - I'm thinking a PI may be needed to find minor
