[WSBAPT] Rent to own Trust Property

[Julie Fowler]

Client/Trustee has a house in an irrevocable trust. Client wants to make the
house rent to own for one child and then list terms that at her death child
should buy the house and buyout siblings' interest in the house. The other
beneficiaries already have expressed concerns over this arrangement.

 

It seems like a bad deal to me both from a real estate perspective and a
fiduciary perspective. Has anyone done a rent to own for trust property that
would like to speak to me?  Or do you have alternate suggestions to present
to client?
