[WSBAPT] Attorney Lien for Beneficiary of an Estate

Never run into this before. Attorney represents a beneficiary (not PR) in an estate probate proceeding. Attorney withdraws, but files a Notice of Attorneys' Claim of Lien. Can an attorney do this? I understand that the claim of lien applies to money in the hands of a 3rd party, just haven't seen it before.

Thank you,
