[WSBAPT] LLLT Expansion - Opposed

Please accept my attached letter as the perspective of one lawyer who
opposes this action. About 30 - 80% of my monthly revenue each month is
attributable to 'non-taxable' estate planning and estate administration. I
am actively trying to focus my practice to these areas. I have many concerns
about the LLLT expansion, some of which I have vented in my letter. I would
just add that I am highly doubtful that the expansion will achieve the
stated purposes of providing affordable legal services to underserved
populations. If you wish to hear my opinion on the issue and why I feel this
way, please feel free to contact me.

Also, I am sincerely requesting that the Bar consider creating a long-term
road map for LLLT expansion, so that lawyers can have this information as
they invest time and money in their business and professional development.
If such guidance is already available, please let me know.
