[WSBAPT] Boundary Line Adjustment- Pierce County

Good morning

I hope that someone can shed some light on the boundary line adjustment process in Pierce County. I have a client/builder who has gone through most of the boundary adjustment process with a local engineering company. (The client originally owned all affected parcels and is doing the boundary process to modify a road to better serve the homes that he constructed.) The engineering company has apparently filed the application paperwork and the record of survey and have received approvals from the county. The client is advised that the process is two part and that now the deeds transferring the affected property need to be recorded to complete the process.

I have been contacted to assist with part two i.e. Drafting and recording the deeds to transfer the land among the affected parties.

My question: is part two (and completion of the revision) as simple as preparing and executing deeds and excise tax affidavits and then recording them with the county? Or is there more to it? Also, is there a deadline to complete this following the approval and recording of the record of survey?

Thanks for your assistance.

Rich
