Sandy,

Can the estate pay her something to move?  If not, I think that you have to file an ejectment action.  There was a discussion on the list some time ago about this and I proposed that you could do an unlawful detainer.  I was convinced otherwise by the responses and now think that ejectment is the only remedy.  I just did one based one, actually, and it was a mess.  So, if you receive responses which provide a more efficient procedure, please post them to the list.

Hello,

Decedent and girlfriend lived in condo owned by decedent. Girlfriend permitted to continue to live in condo during creditor claim period, paying mortgage and utilities. Condo now needs to be sold to pay estate expenses. Girlfriend cannot afford to buy condo.

What can be done if girlfriend refuses to vacate?
