Eric:
The last two numbers at the end of the cause number are "31." This
designates that the matter was filed in Snohomish County. The Odyssey case
management system was introduced in Snohomish County in about May 2016.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Snohomish County Case Number with extra digit
I just encountered a probate matter opened in Snohomish County, where the
case number is 16-4-xxxxx-XX - two check digits on the end, instead of the
usual one. Is this a new thing? Anybody know anything about it?
Sincerely,
Eric
