[WSBAPT] Safe deposit box

My client has a safe deposit box key for a deceased relative, but no idea which bank held the box.  She has asked at banks around the relative's area and the banks have said they don't have a box.  Does anyone know if it's possible to identify the bank where a box is held?  There is a number on a tag on the key and what I assume is a key-maker's name.
