I have an estate pending in King County, in which we had the PR appointed
without obtaining nonintervention powers; this due to their substantial
creditor's claim against the estate and lack of LWT.
We are ready to close the estate and distribute.
11.76.040 requires publication of notice prior to the hearing on the Final
Report and Petition For Distribution.

In this case, the petitioner/PR prevailed in a TEDRA action on their
creditor's claim, and now take the entire estate (which consists primarily
of real property which was co-owned with the decedent). The heirs at law
take nothing, but remain entitled to notice, based on my reading of the
statute. I would like to give notice by mail, but dispense with publication.
Anyone successfully obtain an exparte order avoiding publication?
