[WSBAPT] Eliminating a Time Share of Decedent

I'm working on a probate with a timeshare (with deed) in Florida with debt and minimal value. We are aiming for their version of a deed in lieu of foreclosure, and I think it will work. We can't leave the heirs with the loose end, obviously.

Hello List-mates,

My apologies if you see this twice. I am sending it to both the RP and the PT lists because it does straddle the line.

HC was appointed Personal Representative. Decedent’s estate “owned” a time share in Mexico. There are not significant assets remaining. PR just wants the time share to go away.

This is a new issue to me. I know that there are a lot of companies out there that claim to help get rid of time shares. Looking for any pointers on where to start to help the PR eliminate obligations without paying out a bunch of cash.

Thanks for your consideration.
