Consider an “Alternate Valuation Date“ for the Seahawks tickets to be following the last game of the regular season.  Then you’ll know what those suckers were really worth.

Call the ticket office and ask what the price is? Even with charter they should be able to tell what it costs to get back into them from scratch.

If they are for this season if they want to keep them they'll likely have to pay for them themselves (unless the gift is those tickets forever).

I’ve got a question that I am sure others have dealt with.  Client dies with 2 seasons tickets for the Seahawks. Her will makes a specific bequest of the tickets to a beneficiary.  Client’s estate is taxable, so I need to determine the value of the tickets. Any simple way of doing this?
