Thanks all! We wont be able to get the death cert for a couple weeks, but we may be able to get an affidavit from the funeral director prior to that.

Adria the responses you received from others are correct. I even went to ex parte without  a BC but was able to get a family member to email it to me while in the courtroom and showed it to Commissioner Velategui on my cell phone and he said, "fine!"
