LA Plus does small pooled trusts. Failing that, you might try a TEDRA dissolving the trust.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Special Needs Trustee - Uneconomical Trust?

I have a well-intended client that recently passed and she set up a SNT in her will for her son who is an addict and on social benefits. Ultimately, client spent most of her money and now a paltry $18k remains for the trust. I am thinking that this is too small a sum for a trustee to assume, let alone for it to last a reasonable time to fully set up the trust.

First: any SNT trustees out there that would take on such a sum or,
Second: is this an appropriate distribution through RCW 11.98.070(32) for the current trustee (sister who wants out and is only trustee for the initial administration of the set up, gathering, electing new trustee, etc) to fully end the trust and simply give it outright?

Your collective thoughts are very appreciated.
