James is correct. According to the FDIC:

Inactive as of June 30, 1997
Seattle Trust and Savings Bank is no longer doing business under that name because it has been merged or acquired without government assistance. See the successor institution KeyBank National Association (FDIC #: <https://research.fdic.gov/bankfind/detail.html?bank=17534&name=KeyBank%20National%20Association&searchName=seattle%20trust%20and%20savings&searchFdic=&city=&state=&zip=&address=&tabId=1>

Subject: [WSBAPT] Tracking down successor to Seattle Trust & Savings

Hello: Does anyone know who acquired Seattle Trust and Savings Bank? I found conflicting information, between Key Bank, Umpqua Bank and Sterling Savings. Any information is appreciated.
