I would be happy to chat with you about the US side of this issue. The client (or beneficiary) will need to talk to a German-licensed attorney to analyze what, if any, how German law will impact the German beneficiary.

Client is a German citizen married to an American.  Client has no assets in Germany, but would like to leave part of his estate to a beneficiary that is a German citizen living in Germany.



I would like to confer with someone knowledgeable about the German/U.S. treaties that might apply to this to steer clear of any pitfalls...client is willing to pay for the consultation.
