Subject: [WSBAPT] Canadian oil lease rights

A new estate planning client has oil/mineral lease/rights on property in Canada.  My general understanding is that in Canada, one cannot use a revocable living trust to transfer these rights to one's heirs.  How can I set this up so the lease transfers to their heirs on death without a lot of hassle, such as a probate proceeding in Canada?
