Doug's suggestion makes a lot of sense. I am dealing with a trust right now for real estate  in the name of the trustees, as trustees for the named testamentary trust. Two of the trustees are not longer involved, so the parties are having to deal with straightening out the title

I think the K.C. auditor/recorder staffer is misguided.
