1.      The transcript of the hearing at the Commissioner level is not needed and in fact not admissible on revision.  The only materials to be considered are those on file at the time of the argument.

2.      A motion need not be lengthy but must recite with particularity the aspects of the Commissioner's ruling upon which revision is sought.  One must also recite what is believed to be the correct ruling.

3.      Motion to be accompanied by standard calendar note setting the hearing on the Judge's Civil Motion calendar (9:30 a.m. Tu - Thurs).  Must be filed within 10 days of the filing of the Commissioner's ruling and scheduled for argument within 14 days of filing the motion for revision.

4.      Most of this is in Snohomish County local rule 7(12) (pg. 1265 of the paperbound WA Rules of Court Annotated.

It's been a long time since we sought revision of a probate ruling in Snohomish county.  The rules are not clear about when it has to be scheduled; for sure we have to ask within ten days.  But the form of motion, calendar note, and whether the transcript has to be ordered are ambiguous.

Please educate us by reply to all, and form of motion would be welcome.
