[WSBAPT] What's In a Name?

If the name is really common, then you might get a bunch of creditors calling to see whether your J. Doe decedent is the same as their John, Jill or Joseph Doe. So calling out an unusual middle name or two may be a helpful?

Best regards,

Use what is on the will if testate

This is a probate reality check. How many of you usually (or always) use the decedent’s full name in the pleadings for a probate? I’ve always used the full name but a recent new probate decedent has multiple lengthy middle names. Decedent always used just one “middle initial.” Would that make a difference? The problem I can see is confusion with only using middle initials because the decedent’s first and last name are fairly common. Any thoughts?
