[WSBAPT] Lost Will, small estate, no intent to probate

Listmates- new one for me. Decedent died after lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Cannot locate original Will or Trust documents. Only assets in Decedent's name are under $100k- no property, and two of the assets are beneficiary-designated.

The LAW says Will must be filed, regardless of intention to probate, but also says a regular 'ol copy won't do. Best method to comply? Get certification on Copy of Will? What if witnesses are unavailable (I didn't draft documents, so I can't do the certification)?

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Lisa
