[WSBAPT] Snohomish County Probate - Death Certificate Needed

Hello Jackie,

I was just going through old emails and came across yours. I don't know if
you received a good answer for this, so I thought I would chime in just in
case. I had some clients run into the same issue in November when they
opened a probate for their mother. The commissioner told them that there
had been several incidents of people trying to open probate proceedings
while the "deceased" was still alive. Because of that, the court decided to
take the guesswork out of it and just start requiring the death certificate.

Hope this gives you some answers, if you they still existed! Have a good
