[WSBAPT] Estate planning referral

You can say that again, sayeth another mid-to-late 60’s attorney with a 4 digit bar number less than 4600.

But………

……………….the beauty of our Bar Card is that, if we wish to do so and are healthy enough to do so, we will be able to come into the office a few days a week, when we are not otherwise occupied with travel or other activities, IF the younger set, still going full-time, allows that to continue.  I have already been promised that that will be available for me one of these days, albeit in one of the smaller offices within our office building.

I think it’s silly, and also outdated. A lawyer, especially one who exercises daily, eats lots of veggies & gets plenty of sleep, can absolutely practice successfully well into his/her 80’s. I’ve seen quite a few lawyers do just that – and they’ve been skillful and wise to boot.  Since the potential client doesn’t seem to have a grasp on the modern aging process – perhaps he/she is the one who is getting a bit too ancient! ;)
