[WSBAPT] Trustees

I have a client who would like to act as a trustee for more than just
family members. - perhaps 5-7 of his clients (he is a professional CPA).
He would also like protection from liability without involving his CPA
partners in that liability.
Does he have to become a trust company or is there some something
somewhere that allows a professional fiduciary to open a corp or LLC (when
not an attorney) to act as trustee?
Becoming an actual trust company under title 30/30B is too burdensome.

We have a number of professional fiduciaries we work with that are not
attorneys and are incorporated as a professional guardian or GPC...but
aren't trust companies. What am I missing?
Thanks!
