I'd start with the omitted spouse statute; RCW 11.12.095, Omitted spouse or
omitted domestic partner. Especially RCW 11.12.095(3).

Sincerely,

Subject: [WSBAPT] CP rights of second marriage

Client writes a will six years ago giving everything to son. A year later
client gets married but does not update his will. Marriage is now five
years and client dies. Client discusses with me and intent to redo his will
to benefit his new wife but does not do so. What community property rights
does spouse have over any or all of the property?

Thanks!!
