Subject: [WSBAPT] procedure after death of IP and guardian

The incapacitated person died in late August. Before the final report could be completed the guardian died in early November. An executor has been appointed for the deceased IP's estate. There is a standby guardian willing to be appointed and review and approve the final report and transfer guardianship assets to the probate estate. But since a guardianship terminates on death, it seems inappropriate to appoint a guardian of the estate. Should the report be completed by the executor? Any suggestions on how to proceed here would be greatly appreciated.
