Subject: [WSBAPT] Guardianship Attorney

Client has POA for her Mom, who had a stroke and suffers from intermittent
dementia. Mom recently received inheritance. Mom and Client had argument
regarding whether Mom needs caregivers. After Client leaves, Mom calls
her sister, who readily agrees to leave her trailer park with her ex-con
husband and become live-in caregivers. Aunt and her ex-con husband locked
Client/daughter out and say she is not wanted or needed. Client called
police to say she didn’t think they were giving Mom her meds. Upon entry
with police, Mom was in bad shape and had not been given her medication.
Client needs aggressive Guardianship attorney to gain guardianship over
mom and deal with the urgent need to get the Aunt and her husband out.
Client is in Bothell. Current attorney is conflicted out due to previous
representation of both Mom and Client. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Amy J. Goertz
