[WSBAPT] Off Topic Referral - Insurance - Health Care - Denial of Coverage for Surgery

Dear List-mates,
 
Regence Blue Shield has denied coverage for the child of a business client
of mine. It claims that surgery is experimental for the particular
condition that child has, yet covers the surgery in other situations. 
 
Internal appeal process appears to be exhausted and the state has taken
the position that “the situation is not promising, short of litigation.” 
 
I would like to be able to direct him to someone who is experienced in
this type of work.
