[SPAM] [WSBAPT] Probate Status Hearing Question

Amy,

New probates in Pierce County are now on a 5 year review
schedule. Older probates were on a 1 year schedule. In most cases you
can call the judicial assistant and have the review set over for some
period of time. Depending on the judge, you may have to file a written
status report and a couple may require you to appear. The best judicial
assistants actually call or email the attorney ahead of time to see if
they need an extension.

Subject: [SPAM] [WSBAPT] Probate Status Hearing Question

All,

I have a probate status hearing coming up (Pierce County) and am not sure
what to expect. The probate has been complicated by outside factors and
is just frankly, going to take a while. Do I verbally update the court,
file a report, etc?

Also, last year I obtained an order for Non-Intervention, which I assumed
would eliminate the need for such hearings. What am I missing?
