Listmates, I have a standard nonintervention solvent estate where I
represent the PR. Normally, I just bill the PR for my legal fees on a
monthly basis and the PR pays the bill. I have now received a Request for
Special Notice of Proceedings under RCW 11.28.240 and the requesting
party wants notice when the PR “intends to pay attorney’s fee…” Does this
mean the PR should wait until the end of probate to pay the balance of my
attorney fees or do I just mail a letter to the requesting party stating
that the PR intends to pay my newly generated monthly bill each month?
How do you guys handle your attorney fees when you receive a Request for
Special Notice?
