[WSBAPT] probate - selling assets no one wants

Hello listmates,

                I am in a probate where there is an asset – a truck with
high mileage and some cosmetic body damage that still has a large amount
left on the loan.  The PR (spouse - also sole beneficiary) has tried to
sell it for the amount of the remaining loan ($11K), but really it is
worth far less ($~7-8K).  There are still 2 years left on the 7 year loan.
PR has continued to make the loan payments.  No one in the family wants
the vehicle, and she wants to get rid of the payments.  What options does
she have?
