Uncle died leaving substantial funds in an annuity, naming nieces as
beneficiaries. One niece is now 18; others are younger. Probably we need
to establish a financial custodianship for each; to qualify for greater
college aid, it would be best if the children did not receive access to
the funds, except for college expenses not covered by aid; anyone who has
been down this path before, i.e. motion and appointment of financial
custodian with power to direct funds to a 529 account or other account,
please reply with any advice, or forms, or willingness to get involved in
this.
