[WSBAPT] Looking for a set of Statute Books

You can purchase separate titles or volumes of RCWA from West. I’ve done
that with the two volumes of Title 11 for years. Then just get the updates
for those volumes. The nice thing about the RCWA is that it will get you
into the appellate law and key numbers for those times you have to go to
the courthouse law library and dig deep. It’s quite economical. You can
also subscribe to the advance sheets for appellate decisions (or get the
weekly appellate court digests, which are free, from the state). The
advance sheets have summaries of the cases, and you can rip out the ones
you want for your archives. Then there’s the WSBA sponsored legal research
tool and the online RCWs. But for just skimming through the statutes I
suggest looking at getting just the volumes of the RCWs you use most.

Subject: [WSBAPT] Looking for a set of Statute Books

 

If anyone knows of an attorney who is retiring (or just getting rid of an
old set of statute books for whatever reason), I would like to get a set
free or cheap. The price of buying a new set is astronomical, and I just
cannot seem to absorb information the same when it is online! I am going
use the old books as a starting point and just update the books myself
from online as I go. Thank you in advance.

 

(Obviously, I am in greatest need of Title 11, specifically)
