Jaimie Garrett of Caliber Home Loans in Pierce County says she can do loans in the name of a trust as long as the trustee is also the beneficiary.  Apparently there is a $250 trust review fee involved.  You'd have to contact her for more details - Jaimie.Garett at CaliberHomeLoans.com<mailto:Jaimie.Garett at CaliberHomeLoans.com>.   There may be others who do this as well, but this is the one I am aware of.

Does anyone out there know of any banks or financial institutions that are willing to loan directly to trusts, rather than making the client go through the questionable practice of taking the property out of the trust, borrowing against it, and then putting it back in?
