[WSBAPT] 'order' defined

See
<http://apps.leg.wa.gov/rcw/default.aspx?cite=62A.3&full=true#62A.3-103>
RCW 62A.3-103(6). That's the technical definition in context of negotiable
instruments, anyway. In a trust context, I'd interpret it simply to mean
that payment from the Trust "to the Trustors" need not be literally
directly to the Trustors, but can be to any third party that the Trustors
indicate. I think it's just meant to avoid a lot of two-step payments when
the Trust could just pay something directly.

Sincerely,

Eric

Subject: [WSBAPT] [SPAM] 'order' defined

Mates,

My form RLT contains the following provision: ‘While both Trustors are
alive, the Trust shall provide to Trustors, or to their order, so much of
the income or principal, or both, as they shall direct.’ A client has
asked me for a definition for the highlighted language. I would like to
provide this client with a ‘good’, legal definition. Unfortunately,
Black’s Law and ‘google’ did not assist.

Thank you.
