[WSBAPT] education limitations in trust

Providing trust moneys for education costs sometimes results in the
student being denied or limited other school aid. What language have any
of you experienced as useful in limiting the impact of the education trust
on applications for financial aid? Would something simple like the
following have any impact at all?:

>From the income and principal thereof, the Trustee shall make
discretionary distributions from time to time for the care, maintenance,
health, transportation, education and other needs of such beneficiary,
until the beneficiary reaches the age of twenty-five (25) years and is not
financially incapacitated. It is my wish that such beneficiary be
provided with the same level of support from this trust as I would have
provided had I remained living and the Trustee shall have liberal
discretion to grant requests for expenditures to accomplish that end. I
would not have provided education support for these beneficiaries during
my lifetime, absent a dire need. I instruct my Trustee to advance money
for educational purposes only if there is no other source of necessary
funding for a beneficiary to commence or continue a useful, practical
education.
