<p class="MsoNormal">I am pleased to announce that the Latah County Human Rights Task Force has set a date for the
<span style="background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow">MARTIN LUTHER KING HUMAN RIGHTS COMMUNITY BREAKFAST</span> and that it will be at least partly in person for the first time in three years. Please do
<span style="background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow">SAVE THE DATE: SATURDAY, January 21 at 9:30 am.</span>

<p class="MsoNormal">To avoid our usual big crowd that might cause Covid spread, we are limiting in-person attendance at the Moscow Middle School to 100 people on a first-come first-save basis. But
<span style="background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow">EVERYONE CAN TAKE PART</span> because the Breakfast will be live-streamed. We are not charging any admission, but we dearly hope that you will give a donation because the profits from the Breakfast are used
to fund community human rights education programs, especially for our youth, and we reach at least 1,000 Latah County students each year. You can donate on our website

<p class="MsoNormal">GUEST SPEAKER: We are very excited to have <b>Dr. Scott Finney</b>, professor of Africana Studies and History at Eastern Washington University as our Breakfast guest speaker on the topic of
<b>“Community and Human Rights: Growing Together.” </b>As a recipient of over 20 awards for excellence in teaching, leadership, civil rights and mentoring, Dr. Finnie has made over 40 presentations in the past ten years at Oxford, Glasgow, Brisbane, Manilla,
Bangalore-India, Ascencion-Paraguay, London, Leipzig, Frankfurt, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, New York, Washington D.C., Houston, Seattle, Atlanta, Baton Rouge, San Francisco, San Diego and Honolulu as well as the Inland Northwest on such themes as civil rights,
affirmative action, servant leadership, diversity and cross-cultural communication, the American criminal justice system and faculty hiring in higher education.
