The contest, in its eighth year, allows adopters to share their stories of how their pets changed their lives for the chance at grant money for animal welfare organizations. Clem's family entered their story and now have a shot at the $25,000.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(69, 68, 74);">When Ryan and Lindsey Anderson saw Clem up for adoption from Warren County's Whiskers TNR, they knew he had to be a part of their family. Whisker's TNR is an animal rescue that traps and neuters feral cats to help prevent overpopulation, and sometimes puts cats up for adoption. The Andersons didn't know how Clem would do in the long-term after his surgeries but were amazed to see his resilience and determination. They now have the mindset of “If Clem can get through it, so can we.”<br><br>The Anderson's story warmed people's hearts so much that now they have a shot at $25,000.
