And these distant net zero emissions targets could be a great start, if they weren’t full of gaps and loopholes. Like leaving out emissions from imported goods, international aviation and shipping, as well as the burning of biomass, using baseline manipulation, excluding most feedback loops and tipping points, ignoring the crucial global aspect of equity and historic emissions as well as making these targets completely relying on fantasy scaled, currently barely existing negative emissions technologies.</p><p id="gmail-m_4066558112950041162m_9211705634718726721gmail-5d6b" style="box-sizing:inherit;word-break:break-word;color:rgb(41,41,41);line-height:32px;letter-spacing:-0.003em;font-family:charter,Georgia,Cambria,"Times New Roman",Times,serif;font-size:21px">But as your acts continue, more and more of us are seeing through your manuscripts and roleplaying. Taking bold climate action will naturally bring many advantages and benefits.
