Maya Angelou combined this poem with one of her own. I first heard it because one of the instructors for the U of I College of Law's week-long Trial Advocacy class plays it every year. He uses it to show students how to use their voices, and change pace and
tone powerfully. He also uses Kenneth Branaugh's St. Crispin's Day speech for the same point.</div>
