radio, but the amateur radio club at the University of Idaho may
have not only amateur radio operators, "hams," who likely
understand the electronics and can appreciate the abilities of the

that's only part of what needs checking. I'd consider
replacing the capacitors if I was you. Old style paper and
oil caps dry out with age.</div>

this list know of any person or place that could repair an
old tube style "portable" shortwave radio? The unit in
question is a Zenith Y600 Transoceanic and I would love to
get it operational to possibly hand down to a younger
generation.
