<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto"><div><div><b>PRESS RELEASE: GREAT MOSCOW FOOD DRIVE,</b></div><div>Saturday, August 5th 8am to 1pm</div><div> </div><div>Submitted by Joann Muneta, Chair Latah County Human Rights Task Force</div><div><a href="mailto:jmuneta@uidaho.edu">jmuneta@uidaho.edu</a> 203 S Howard, Moscow ID 83843</div><div> </div><div>The Latah County Human Rights Task Force and the City of Moscow Human Rights Commission are sponsoring the Great Moscow Food Drive on Saturday, August 5, 8am to 1pm at the Farmer’s Market, next to the bus stop in front of the Moscow Hotel, and at Moscow Safeway and Moscow Rosauers.</div><div> </div><div>Donations of non-perishable food and household and toiletry items are requested and will be given to the Moscow Food Bank. Donations of cash and checks will also be accepted with checks made to the Latah County Human Rights Task Force. Checks can also be sent to the Task Force at Box 8613, Moscow. One-half of the cash donations will go to the Moscow Food Bank and one-half to help the Summer Weekend Backpack for Kids, a project that provides weekend food packs targeting children from families who are eligible for free or reduced cost lunches and breakfasts during the school year, but who do not have this opportunity available in the summer.</div><div> </div><div>The Great Moscow Food Drive was started in the year 2000 by Carla Kappler, a member of the Latah County Human Rights Task Force.
