Chris Tennant said MPD received a report of a vehicle stuck in a ditch near West Palouse River Drive and West Sand Road. When officers responded to the scene, however, the vehicle in question, an El Dorado Cadillac, had already been pulled out of the ditch and drove away as MPD pulled up.</div><div><br></div><div>Some time later, Tennant said the department received another report on West Sand Road of an abandoned vehicle that appeared to have been in an accident.</div><div><br></div><div>Officers determined it was the same vehicle from earlier, reporting that it was still running and its air bags were deployed, but the driver was nowhere in sight.</div><div><br></div><div>After of 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, the MPD was investing the area as well as local hospitals for anyone that appears to have been in an accident.
