Were they paying attention?</div><div><br></div><div>Included in his campaign literature were: Defend the rights of the unborn by advocating Pro-Life values; Respect our people's belief in a Divine Creator and conduct myself accordingly.</div><div><br></div><div>In a later interview, he explained that his only concern as a legislator would be "doing the right thing." He is a Christian, conservative, Republican - in that order.</div><div><br></div><div>As Donald Trump takes action we don't want to "keep us safe," Foreman's "doing the right thing" has proven to be over the top. His prime focus is to push his beliefs right down our throats.</div><div><br></div><div>He thumped his chest and offered legislation that would classify abortion as first-degree murder for the mother and for the doctor who performs the operation - with exception only if the mother's life is endangered. This proved too much even for Right to Life of Idaho. They opposed the measure.</div><div><br></div><div>Foreman arrogantly stated in a constituent letter that, "The global warming theory is nonsense. The vast majority of credible scientists say so."</div><div><br></div><div>He might consult University of Idaho scientists who know better. They will tell him that the increase in the mean concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere has been caused by anthropogenic sources - particularly the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation.</div><div><br></div><div>Foreman states, "The left-wing has created a new religion, and it's called 'the environment.' I wish they would pay more attention to real religion."</div><div><br></div><div>Whatever that is. Actually most people recognize the importance of protecting our planet for future generations.
