Smith presented "My Fake News is Your Truth – Welcome to the Twilight (Zone) of the American Press” at the League of Women Voters, Moscow forum in Moscow's 1912 Community Center's Great Room.<br><br>Smith is clinical assistant professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Media at the University of Idaho.<br><br>A veteran news professional of 38 years, Smith last served as editor of The Spokesman-Review, the daily newspaper in Spokane. <br><br>He is a graduate of the Northwestern University Newspaper Management Center Advanced Executive Program and a mid-career development program at Duke University.
