He farms about 4,400 acres grain, oilseed and pulse crops with his brother Jay. He holds bachelor's degrees in ag economics and ag mechanization from the University of Idaho. He is a past president of the Idaho Grain Producers and currently serves on the Idaho Wheat Commission.</div><div> </div><div>David Doeringsfeld has served as the general manager of the Port of Lewiston for 23 years and he is involved in numerous transportation, economic development and natural resource related issues.
