Jesse Roskelley and Scott Coldirons, both experienced climbers, used the ice to make their ascent. Roskelly has climb Mount Everest, so jaunting up the frozen Palouse falls might have appeared more manageable. Still, State Parks Officials believe this is the first time such a feat has been managed on these falls. The also noted the increase rescues at the falls, 13 since the start of 2015.
