Workers and volunteers went to the house, swam to the cow, lifted it into a boat and then loaded it into a trailer for transport.</span></p></div><div class="subscriber-only" style="box-sizing: border-box;"><p class="p3" style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 24px; line-height: 27px;"><span class="s2" style="box-sizing: border-box; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">The cow was not in the best of shape when it arrived at the shelter.
