Her ignorant, hateful message is identical to what it once was against Jews in Germany. Her tea party sponsors/followers obviously share the same venom. The Aryan Nation-types have resurfaced in the Northwest in full force.</span></p><p style="outline: 0px; margin: 10px 0px 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 24px; background-image: none; float: none !important;"><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Mund and her supporters' protest against the Islamic prayer inside a Lutheran church shows her ignorance of Lutheran tolerance toward Muslims. Not only was Martin Luther sympathetic to the "Turks" (Muslims), but his Protestant Reformation borrowed much from Islam. And there was St. Francis of Assisi, who brought church bells from observing prayer-call minarets during his proselytizing visits to Islamic lands, as well as the prayer beads. Upon return, he also told his fellow Catholics in Europe, "Muslims are good people; we must learn to get along."</span></p><div class="encrypted-content" style="outline: 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; float: none !important;"><p style="outline: 0px; margin: 10px 0px 0px; padding: 0px; line-height: 24px; background-image: none; float: none !important;"><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">And these immigrants/refugees? Mund and her fans are perhaps among the enthusiastic supporters of our invasions of Islamic lands; the immigrants are absolutely the direct result of our policies. At a minimum, mustn't there be a "you-break-it-you-fix-it" responsibility? Further, mustn't we realize that, while deplorable, the despicable militant minority out of 1.8 billion Muslims are reacting to the brutalities we have inflicted upon their lands?
