Pullman Police received a report Monday of a posting on Craigslist in the Rants and Raves category. The poster threatened to kill anyone wearing WSU gear. The post was entitled “Mass Murders” and referenced an incident at the Pullman Walmart between the writer and individuals wearing Cougar clothing. Pullman Police tracked down the poster to an apartment on the South side of town. Bobby Farmer reportedly admitted to officers that he posted the threat but said he wasn’t going to act on it. Police searched Farmer’s apartment on Tuesday and did not find any weapons. Officers note that he has an extensive criminal history which includes several gun charges.
