wn Moscow?  When did the Palouse Mall open?  When did Macy's move into that location?<br><br>This is not the village of Moscow, population 2,500, losing its only family clothing clothing store, and generating permanent economic ripples throughout the community, but it's not insignificant either.  There is no need to press a panic button.  Nonetheless, caveat.<br><br>Car dealerships disappearing a few years ago, now larger box stores (Office Depot, Macy's); University enrollment slipping;  Moscow needs to consider some new non-retail economic development to bring sales revenues into the area in exchange for products shipped out to customers.<br><br>Thales, the first philosopher, figured out how to make some money within his locality.  So can his successor contemporaries here.<br><br><br>Ken<o:p></o:p></p></div></body></html>
